PINK RIBBON CELEBRATED BY HITEC GIRLS SOCIETY ON NOVEMBER 14, 2018

The Electrical Engineering Department at HITEC University invites Professionals and students to a one day CPD short course entitled “Multicarrier Communications for 4G and Beyond” on November 28, 2018 at HITEC University.

The speaker for short course is Dr. Raza Ali Shah, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering Department, HITEC University. Professionals and students from different universities and organizations are invited to attend the course.

The program for the short course is as follows:

·         Multicarrier communications: Basic principles

·         MIMO OFDM

·         5G considerations

 This CPD short course carries 0.5 CPD point. Registration fee is Rs. 1000/- for Professionals & Students and free for HITEC Students. On-spot registration facility will be available at the venue.

Lecture on 3D printing technology

3D printing is opening up incredible possibilities for designing and building all kinds of imaginative things directly from a desktop 3D printer. A lecture on 3D printing technology followed by demonstration on actual machine at HIT, was delivered to final year students and young faculty members on 21 Mar 2018 by Dr. Abdul Malik Tahir, Senior R&D Engineer of 3M Abrasive Systems Division, Sweden. The participants gained understanding of specific 3D designing software, different types of printers and about how these work with different types of materials.
