Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Framework and Design/Assessment of Complex Engineering Activities as per OBE System

<p>The Civil Engineering Department of HITEC University organized a professional development session titled “Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Framework and Design/Assessment of Complex Engineering Activities as per OBE System” on October 2, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The session was delivered by Dr. Ayub Elahi, Professor at University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila, who shared his expertise on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), focusing on the implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes and the effective design and assessment of Complex Engineering Problems and Activities in line with accreditation requirements. The session highlighted CLO–PLO mapping, assessment strategies, and documentation practices essential for quality assurance in engineering education, and it provided faculty members with practical guidance to strengthen academic processes and ensure continuous improvement within the department.</p>
