Eligibility criteria for BS civil Engineering Program is as follows:
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / A Level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60 % marks or
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / A Level or equivalent with & Physics, Mathematics, Computer Studies/Computer Science with minimum 60 % marks. (Chemistry to be considered as remedial subject and shall be offered in first semester after admission.)
Diploma of Associate Engineers (DAE) with minimum 60% marks

The Civil Engineering program is accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council which ensures that the degree program meets technical standards. It also prepares the students for professional practice as per industrial needs.
The BS Civil Engineering program is accredited under Level-II (Washington Accord). This facilitates the mobility of graduates across borders and enhances their opportunities for employment and further education in the developed countries like USA, UK, Canada, and Australia etc.

The university offers various research opportunities in areas like structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, construction management, and environmental engineering. These opportunities allow students to work on real-world problems under the guidance of experienced faculty.

HITEC University hosts Open House & Job Fair annually where several industries are invited to showcase innovative final year projects of the graduating students.
