HITEC University proudly celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day with a heartfelt and engaging ceremony. The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Dr. Rab Nawaz, Chairperson of Islamic Studies. In his speech, Professor Dr. Tahir Nadeem Malik, Director QA&C, emphasized the significance of gratitude towards Almighty Allah and the importance of remembering the sacrifices of our forefathers. He urged everyone to embrace accountability and self-improvement as Pakistan progresses towards a brighter future.
The Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. S. Kamran Afaq, addressed the current situation of Pakistan and HITEC University. He highlighted the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in today’s world and presented an AI-generated video celebrating Independence Day. Professor Dr. Kamran Afaq underscored the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the nation, advocating for the inclusion of civic sense, community service, and patriotism in education. He also stressed the importance of equipping students with essential skills to excel in their future careers.
The event was a resounding success, bringing together the university community to honor and reflect on the spirit of independence and national progress.
