The Badminton Team of HITEC University will participate in the HEC Badminton Championship 2025-26 organized by University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzafrabad. To encourage the students, Professor Dr. Junaid Ali Khan (Dean E&T) distributed the official sports kits amongst the students and motivated the students to actively participate in the said event and showcase their talent. The Dean also emphasizes with his inspiring words, the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Intervarsity HEC Table Tennis Championship 2025-26

HITEC University successfully hosted the HEC Zone E Table Tennis Championship, bringing together talented athletes from universities across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila and Kashmir. After a series of intense and thrilling matches, COMSAT University emerged as the undisputed champions for doubles and NUML University champions for singles.

Congratulations to COMSAT University and NUML University on their outstanding performance and to all participating teams for showcasing exceptional skill and sportsmanship. HITEC University is proud to have provided a platform for such inspiring athletics talent.

HITEC University Sports Battle – Men’s Futsal Final The excitement continues at HITEC University’s Sports Battle!
In a gripping Men’s Futsal Final, the teams from Management Sciences and Computer Science went head-to-head in an intense showdown. After a series of thrilling plays, the Computer Science team emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork!

HITEC University Sports Battle – Women’s Futsal Final

HITEC University proudly hosted its First Sports Battle, a mega interdepartmental event where students showcase their skills in futsal, cricket, badminton, table tennis, athletics, basketball, and volleyball.

The Women’s Futsal Final was a thrilling match between Management Sciences and Computer Engineering. In the closing minutes, the Management Sciences team secured victory with two brilliant goals!

Congratulations to the champions and a big round of applause to all participants for their sportsmanship, dedication, and energy.

Organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs and Sports Society, the Sports Battle aims to promote teamwork, leadership, and a healthy competitive spirit—values that extend far beyond the sports arena.

A Match Beyond Boundaries!

In an exhilarating 10-over cricket showdown, the Faculty of Engineering set a competitive target of 93, but the Faculty of Sciences triumphed by chasing it down in just 8.2 overs, losing only 3 wickets.

HITEC University Gears Up for HEC Zone E Table Tennis Championship with Manager's Meeting and Draws

In preparation for the upcoming HEC Zone E Table Tennis Championship, HITEC University hosted a manager’s meeting today, bringing together Directors of Sports from 10 universities across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, and Kashmir. The championship is set to begin on November 6, 2024, with both singles and doubles categories contested by some of the best university players in the region.

During the meeting, event details and logistics were discussed, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated tournament. Draws for both singles and doubles events were conducted, adding an air of excitement as each team received their match placements.

The championship promises to be a showcase of athletic skill, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. We look forward to seeing these talented players in action and welcome the support of the university community in making this event a success.
