Celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day at HITEC University

HITEC University proudly celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day with a heartfelt and engaging ceremony. The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Dr. Rab Nawaz, Chairperson of Islamic Studies. In his speech, Professor Dr. Tahir Nadeem Malik, Director QA&C, emphasized the significance of gratitude towards Almighty Allah and the importance of remembering the sacrifices of our forefathers. He urged everyone to embrace accountability and self-improvement as Pakistan progresses towards a brighter future.
The Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. S. Kamran Afaq, addressed the current situation of Pakistan and HITEC University. He highlighted the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in today’s world and presented an AI-generated video celebrating Independence Day. Professor Dr. Kamran Afaq underscored the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the nation, advocating for the inclusion of civic sense, community service, and patriotism in education. He also stressed the importance of equipping students with essential skills to excel in their future careers.
The event was a resounding success, bringing together the university community to honor and reflect on the spirit of independence and national progress.

Science Society HITEC University Participated in STEM UET Lahore

Final Year Students from the Electrical Engineering department, participated in the All Pakistan Project Exhibition held on February 13th, 2024 in University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, where they presented a project named Sensor Based Temperature Control System. HITEC University encourages students to actively participates in national events.

Rock the Stage

HITEC University's E-Minor Club presented "Rock the Stage," a musical event that showcased the incredible talents of the university's students. The event was held in the university's auditorium and was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and music enthusiasts from the surrounding area. The event was a huge success, with the audience being blown away by the incredible musical performances.

Mushaira 2023

Literary and Debating Society organized Mushaira in which notable poets and poetess were in attendance. Other guests include Janaab Rahat Sarhadi for Sadaraat with Janaab Salmaan Basit as Mehmaan e Khasoosi along with Janaab Talib Ansari, Janaab Rana Saeed Doshani and Mohtarma Shafquat Hayat Shafaq as Shaan e Mehfil. All poets and the poetess had their own unique voice and style which was highly appreciated by students from diverse backgrounds.

Annual Lunch for batch 2018

The Annual Lunch of Batch 2018 was held at HITEC University. Alumni from the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science participated in this event, where they met their colleagues as well as their teachers, where they experienced nostalgia from their days at University. HITEC University keeps a strong bond with its alumni and keeps a mutually beneficial relationship.

Bake and sale was held by girls society

Girls Society of HITEC University organized Bake and Sale, on January 18, 2023. The purpose of the event was to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship in students, while enhancing their managerial skills. The beautiful decor, scrumptious food and music made the event extravaganza and proved its slogan “we make edible incredible”. The event was very well received by the Students, faculty and staff.
